The second day of the UGM ICD 2020 series which was held on Thursday (5/3) still presents various interesting events on the 2nd Floor of Grha Sabha Pramana UGM. The visitor registration which had been opened since morning was filled with visitors, most of whom have already registered at several companies and will take part in the interview stage.
Same as the previous day, the main stage was again filled with Talkshows and various entertainment. This time, the talk show titled “Ignite Your Inner Power and Find The True You” was presented by Dr. Ayu Helena Cornellia, B.A., M.Sc., founder of Cornellia & Co. and Gayatri Hutami Putri, S.Psi., an influencer and owner from Valguni as a speaker and Maya Sintesa, S.Sc. as the talk show moderator.
After discussing startups, this talk show refers to how to explore their potential so that they can be utilized to the fullest.
“Everyone has potential in themselves and maybe even can make it a profession,” said Ayu who specializes in Public Relations.
This was also confirmed by Gayatri, an influencer who graduated from the UGM Faculty of Psychology. According to her, passion can be found through hobbies that are continually honed and created then shared with the environment.
“If we have already become someone else’s example, try to continue in giving positive effects,” he said.
In addition to the talk show, this workshop also provided special training on Leaderless Group Discussion (LGD) and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the title “Explore Yourself with The Best Thinking to Be Something Through Group Discussion” which helps job seekers to find tips and tricks conducted during the LGD and FGD activities in the company they are interested in later. UGM ICD 2020 also provides career consulting services which are conducted for two days from the first day of the event.
The second day of UGM ICD 2020 activities was also the last day of the event. Prof. Dr. Paripurna, S.H., M.Hum., LL.M., as the Vice-Chancellor for Partnerships and Alumni, gave the closing remarks.
“This event is expected to be a place for alumni, universities, and company partners to work together in creating human resources quality,” said Prof. Dr. Paripurna.
After the remarks, the event continued with the delivery of the UGM souvenirs session by Prof. Dr. Paripurna. to the sponsoring partners, namely PT Harmoni Panca Utama, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia, and PT LPPNPI (AirNav Indonesia) and ended with a group photo. The closing ceremony was symbolically done by pressing the button on the device by Prof. Dr. Paripurna and accompanied by Dr. Danang Sri Hadmoko, S.Sc., M.Sc., as Director of Partnership, Alumni, and International Affairs at Universitas Gadjah Mada.
UGM ICD 2020 is expected to have facilitated university graduates to get companies that match their interests and also to know a lot of insights that have been obtained both from talk shows, workshops, to career consultations.
