The language translator may not be one of the favorite areas of interest for many people in Indonesia. But if you see the potential, this profession can be one of the alternatives to be selected in a career. Especially in the era of globalization, this profession is considered to have pretty good and profitable career prospects.
One of the multinational companies that are opening opportunities for language translators is Collabera Inc.
As delivered by the Collabera Southeast Asia representation, Mohit Mahajan, when visiting the University of Gadjah Mada, Wednesday (24/1). “The existence of a language translator is now much needed by the global community, especially for companies in the world that are developing their business networks to various countries,” said Mohit.

“Presenting content by adjusting the language in the country that is the company’s business target is one of the added value of their expansion. We provide these services to help partners in building their business,” said Mohit.
Mohit added, the income earned from this translator profession every month is also quite high. He also dared to mention that the language translator will continue to be needed in the future.
Mohit’s presence in Yogyakarta is part of Collabera’s agenda to seek out potential talents who want a career in his company. Universitas Gadjah Mada was chosen as Collabera’s partner in Indonesia to implement campus recruitment program.
Recruitment activities held at the Library Seminar Room of UGM was attended by 25 participants. The recruitment agenda contains only brief interviews to determine the motivation and ability of foreign language from participants. Later, the qualified participant will go through the advanced interview stage with the head of the company by phone and Skype, before being placed in the office of Collabera in the Philippines.
