Management Trainee (MT) Program now has opened by multiple companies who have been doing regeneration and need fresh ideas from young leaders. Within the various facilities offered and career certainty which can increase significantly, no wonder if MT Program is attracted many job seekers, including fresh graduates. PT. Napan Persada as a huge company which has run for years also provides the opportunity to join the MT Program by held direct recruitment process in three major universities in Java, Universitas Gadjah Mada is one of them.
Napan Persada is one of the companies in Jakarta which has multiple affiliations. There are fibreboard manufacturing field, granite, furniture, internet service provider, hospitality, and buildings. Currently, one of the subsidiary company of PT. Napan Persada which runs the fibreboard manufacturing field, PT Sumatera Prima Fibreboard in Palembang opens MT Program for Production, Maintenance, and Quality MT Program (Project MT PMQ).

MT Program of PT. Sumatera Prima Fibreboard is intended for Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Forestry graduates because fibreboard is made from woods. These MT will directly put into Supervisor position if they could pass the program. The qualifications that the company is looking for are male with minimum 3.00 GPA, and fresh graduates are allowed to apply. Moreover, the applicants also must have knowledge in mechanical and industrial field because all of the work in PT Sumatera Prima Fibreboard has run automatically by machines, not manual.
Like other recruitment process, there are also some steps which applicants should pass and they are administration, psychological test, HRD interview, psychological interview, user interview, and medical check-up, and there are only 30 persons will be chosen to pass the administration.
“From 25 applicants we call to do psychological test and interview at Vocational School of UGM, there are 17 applicants attended and now left with 9 candidates after the user interview. From these 9 candidates, they will get selected by medical check-up process until there are only 3-5 candidates which will be departed to Palembang,” explained Fitria from Jakarta Human Consulting as Psychology Consultant during the recruitment process of PT Napan Persada.
