After held UGM Tracer Study 2019 for bachelor and diploma degree program on February 26th, Directorate of Partnership, Alumni, and Global Initiatives (DKAUI) via Sub-directorate of Alumni Relation also held UGM Tracer Study 2019 for master degree program on Wednesday, (27/2). There were 66 representatives from each faculties and program attended the event at Seminar Room, UGM Main Library.
Director of Partnership, Alumni, and Global Initiatives, Dr. Danang Sri Hadmoko, S.Si., M.Sc during his opening speech said it is a challenge to increase response rate in tracer study because of various response received after e-mail broadcasting process. Usually on the first week, the response tends to increase but then decrease.
“From previous tracer study data and alumni feedback, there are few suggestions for us all. It is related to UGM students’ health condition, which have to be our concern, either for undergraduates and postgraduates. Most of UGM graduates have failed health test during their job recruitment process. Meanwhile, their psychological test and interview results are very good,” said Dr. Danang.
It continued with opening speech from Head of Sub-directorate of Alumni Relation, Dr. Sulistyowati, S.S., M.Hum. She explained that UGM Tracer Study 2019 Task Force Team had revised instruments from Standar 9 in BAN-PT because there are some necessities from faculties for accreditation purpose.
“Tracer Study 2019 still similar to the previous one, but we have changed the response target to alumni who graduated in 2017. There is also graduate user survey attached,” added Dr. Sulistyowati.
Similar to what she has already explained on UGM Tracer Study 2019 socialization for bachelor and diploma program on the previous day, Dr. Sulistyowati said that the departments and graduates’ engagement is very close, then she hoped that the departments could be initiator in this tracer study even Sub-directorate of Alumni Relation has prepared enumerators consist of 58 people from students and staff member.
“The departments’ person in charge (PIC) will have back office access. If users in the departments find difficulty during UGM Tracer Study 2019, we are always ready to help,” said Head of Subdirectorate of Alumni Relation. [UGM Alumni Relation/Irzha;Photo:Nisa]
