BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk. organized an educational scholarship program recruitment for year 2017 students of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) on Wednesday (8/2) morning. Located in Hall Library of Vocational School (SV) UGM, this activity was attended by more than 250 participants. Not only from UGM, participants also came from universities in Yogyakarta and Central Java, such as Universitas Islam Indonesia, Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta, and Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Purwokerto.
As presented by Indah Susanti (Human Resources of BFI Yogyakarta), BFI, as one of the leading finance companies in Indonesia, is not only focusing on its company development activities, but also cares about education. Evidently, this scholarship program has reached its 13th year in the implementation.
“This scholarship for undergraduate program has been running since 2004, and this is a form of BFI’s commitment to Indonesia’s education, especially for higher education,” she said on her speech as BFI represent, opened the recruitment activities.
Indah continued, qualified will get a wide range of facilities, including a complete package of tuition fee payment, pocket money, and allowance to complete their thesis. Futhermore, BFI also guarantees a place in said finance company only by participating in the Management Training Program (MTP).
“In addition to educational scholarships, we also provide a career opportunity at the BFI, even for students with certain GPA will be given additional incentives from us,” added Lovely.
However, although open to all majors or study program, this scholarship prefers students from the Faculty of Economics, such as the Department of Economics and Accounting. This is to adjust to the company’s background, which is engaged in the field of finance. In addition, all participants must not be under other institution’s scholarships.
Besides UGM, this recruitment activity is also held in many other cities and universities throughout Indonesia.
