Successfully organized Universitas Gadjah Mada Integrated Career Days (UGM ICD) 2016 with 9.970 registrants, Sub-directorate of Alumni Relation UGM is ready to bring back UGM ICD in the year of 2017. As a first step, UGM ICD 2017 meeting along with representatives from all of UGM faculties and schools was held on Wednesday (22/02) at Courtroom I of UGM Central Building.
“ICD brings the widest access for students and alumni to the career world. Hopefully this year, ICD can provide benefits for many parties and will get a more rousing welcome,” said Dr. Danang Sri Hadmoko, Secretary of Directorate of Partnership, Alumni, and International Affairs UGM on his speech.
Danang explained that alumni and partners must have a good relation because alumni is one of university’s biggest strengths to give access to the government and industry. Therefore, UGM ICD is present to give access for both alumni and partners to give each other positive reciprocity.
UGM ICD 2017 that is entitled “Brand Yourself! Get Hired!” will be held on 11th and 12th April 2017.
Not only presenting companies and scholarships booths, UGM ICD also organizes workshop and seminar with various themes, and also career counseling.” said Merryta Andriyani, S.E., Akt., Head of Alumni Career Development Division of Sub-directorate of Alumni Relation UGM when explaining UGM ICD 2017 event plan.
Aside from involving 18 faculties and 2 schools in UGM, UGM ICD preparation is planning to openly recruit UGM students and alumni to participate as organizing committee. As for the open recruitment registration will be published on Sub-directorate of Alumni Relation UGM website.
