Success with its seven business units, Kapal Api Global has a target to further expand its business network. In an effort to achieve said target, one of the main keys is human capital. Therefore, it is not surprising that in 2017, Kapal Api Global holds recruitment at selected universities in Indonesia to get quality human capital.
In collaboration with Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Kapal Api Global organized a series of campus hiring on 11-13 April 2017.
“If there is one thing that makes me jealous at these days hiring it is the Management Trainee program held by various companies because I never experienced it. Therefore, show your best abilities and take advantage of this opportunity as well as possible!” said Dr. Anna Marie Wattie, M.A., Director of UGM Sub-directorate of Partnership, Alumni, and International Affairs in her speech at the seminar ‘Going Global with Kapal Api Global’.
The seminar that was held on Thursday (13/4) at Sukadji Ranuwiharjo Auditorium of Magister Management UGM managed to attract more than 200 participants.
“Through the Management Trainee program, the participant’s career path will be prepared befitting a leader from the first entry, including heading those who are older,” explained Citra Nidya Glanida, Corporate Communications for Kapal Api Group as she was giving the topic of the generation gap and how to address it.
In addition to Citra, Paulus Irwan Edy, Human Capital Director of PT Kapal Api Global also attended the event to share insights related to Indonesia’s existing condition and career in companies in Indonesia. He also did not forget to give tips to understand the company’s mindset and how to make a career in it. This was certainly a very interesting session, especially for applicants of Kapal Api Global campus hiring program who directly underwent recruitment after the seminar was over. [Eva]
