Directorate of Partnership, Alumni, and Global Initiatives (DKAUI) through Subdirectorate of Alumni Relation UGM had conducted UGM Tracer Study 2019 Socialization Session on Tuesday morning (26/2). More than 50 participants were attended and representing whole faculties and schools in UGM. This meeting was held in Seminar Room, UGM Main Library and this is also a kick-off start for UGM Tracer Study 2019.
Similar to Tracer Study from previous years, Tracer Study 2019 fulfillment will be done through UGM e-mail account and SIMASTER, hence UGM alumni is expected to stay active with their UGM e-mail account so that they could get newest features update such as online diploma legalization.
UGM Tracer Study Program 2019 Socialization Session was opend by speech from Director of Partnership, Alumni, and Global Initiatives, Dr. Danang Sri Hadmoko, S.Si., M.Sc and Dr. Sulistyowati, S.S., M.Hum., as Head Chief of Subdirectorate of Alumni Relation.
Hendranti Wisnu Saputro, S.T., M.Sc. as Head Chief of Subdirectorate Information System and Data Analysis DSSDI became a speaker for the UGM Tracer Study 2019 presentation. After presentation, the event continued with discussion and Q&A session.
“The success of UGM Tracer Study 2019 cannot be separated from your participation and roles in UGM departments. Respondent improvement can be increased by using KAGAMA group which mostly active everyday. Moreover, the information related to Tracer Study is also can be broadcasted through the batch leader so they can broadcast them to their batch group,” said Wisnu.
Dr. Sulistyowati added that the deparments have close relationship with their alumni. Subdirectorate of Alumni Relation has prepared ‘ammunition’ such as enumerator team that needs to maintain the respondents to make it to the target. For example, Faculty of Cultural Sciences has response rate target to 100%. According to Dr. Sulistyowati, the enumerator team is very helpful in achieveng the respondent target. However, departments role is remain important because they have stronger emotional bound to their alumni and with good collaboration between the departments and enumerator, Subdirectorate of Alumni Relation can be sure that UGM Tracer Study 2019 respondent participation will increase.
