National Gas Company (PGN) as one of the biggest Indonesia’s national company in transportation and natural gas distribution, held job recruitment in few large cities including Yogyakarta. Collaborating with Subdirectorate of Alumni Relation, PGN held psychological test and LGD (Leaderless Group Discussion) in UGM.
The first step to do is administration files submission. After administration selection, the candidate who passed will be invited to join psychological test. It was not limited for UGM alumni only but the recruitment also held for all alumni of universities in Yogyakarta. There were 833 candidates who pass the administration selection and there were only 500 candidates who could attend the psychological test which held on Monday (18/03). The test started at 07.00 – 16.00 WIB at MM UGM Auditorium and Library Hall of Vocational School of UGM.
For candidates who passed the psychological test, later will be contacted by the recruiter to join LGD that held in East Seminar Room, FISIPOL on Tuesday (19/03) at 09.00-14.00 WIB. There were more than 200 candidates who successfully passed and then join the LGD as previously scheduled. The candidates who passed the LGD will be invited to direct interview with PGN in Jakarta.
PGN has targeted to recruit engineering alumni, but this is not limited for social majors graduates who want to apply.
“There are 101 positions offered by PGN and even for one position, it requires more than one staff. However, even it requires more engineering graduates, there are also other positions offered for all social majors background,” said Raden Gerhana Ramadhianti, assessor from FIRSTASIA, one of the PGN assessor.
It also said that PGN has partnership with UGM as a contributing partner in UGM’s development, including internship opportunity for students and recruitment of UGM graduates.
