Risyanto Suanda is an alumnus from Faculty of Fisheries, Universitas Gadjah Mada, specializing in fisheries resource management in 1998. As an outstanding student, Risyanto also had the opportunity to continue his studies and get a postgraduate scholarship from the World Bank. He took a science master’s degree in remote sensing field for management of coastal areas at UGM and graduated in 2001. Risyanto was the winner of the Outstanding Young Alumni at the 2018 Alumni Awards as a form of UGM’s appreciation for his contribution in Indonesian fisheries and has inspired young people to continue achievers. This man who was born in Karawang, February 24th, 1976, has a lot of experience in leading companies, both private companies where he pursues careers and companies he founded himself. At a relatively young age, Risyanto was recorded as a Director of PT Geo Solusi Indonesia (2007-2008), Founder and CEO of PT Mitratech Andal Sinergia (2008-2016), Founder of Mitra Agri Selaras (2008-2016), Commissioner of PT Mulia Abadi Supply (2013-2016), and Director of the Indonesian Fisheries General Corporation (Perum Perindo) in 2017 until now.
