Dr. Cahyo Rahmadi is alumni of Faculty of Biology UGM class of 1995. After he graduated in 2000, he joined Cave Survey in Central Sulawesi with Central Sulawesi Conservation Park. From 2001-2003, he was active as researcher in Maros Cave and Karts Biodiversity Project, RC Biology LIPI funded by ARCBC and collaborated with MNHN Paris.
He was not just leveled up his career domestically; Dr. Cahyo Rahmadi also did various fieldworks in many countries in Southeast Asia, such as BAU LIMESTONE Project in Sarawak, Malaysia, Phang Nga Karst Thailand, and Muller Expedition: Surveying Cave Biodiversity in Central Kalimantan. In 2006, he became Leader of Cave Fauna Exploration Team in Mount Sewu from LIPI Biology Research Centre.
