Yogyakarta- KAGAMA Virtual with Subdirectorate of Alumni Relation Universitas Gadjah mada (UGM) held Syawalan 2019 on Sunday (9/6). This event was held in 1st floor of Grha Sabha Pramana UGM at 10.00 and it started with guest registration and continued with singing Indonesia Raya and Hymne Gadjah Mada.
Mr. Sulastama Raharja, represented KAGAMA Virtual, during his opening speech said that KAGAMA Virtual is not only exist virtually but also directly gives aid for humanity such as building a school and TPS as part of KAGAMA Virtual activity.
“Moreover, KAGAMA Virtual also gives special fund for scholarship,” said Sulastama.
After KAGAMA Virtual opening speech, Rector of UGM, Prof. Ir. Panut Mulyono, M.Eng., D.Eng., also gave his speech. Panut said that KAGAMA as platform for alumni so they will be able to live harmonically as a family. Similar to what Sulastama has mentioned before, KAGAMA has many humanitarian program and aid for the unfortunate students.
At this 9th Syawalan KAGAMA Virtual, H. Ganjar Pranowo, S.H., M.I.P., as Chairman of PP KAGAMA, also attended and gave his speech to the guest.
“KAGAMA always give us creative ideas which can be beneficial and we can used them as fund or aid,” said Ganjar.
Ganjar also gives message to all KAGAMA to be able to embrace each other. Syawalan also held as a place where KAGAMA could be reunited and maintain relationship with others. Not only through social media, but also important to greet or share stories directly.
After the speech, the event was continued with religious talk about the meaning of syawal and presentation from KAGAMA communities such as KAGAMA Beasiswa & Dana Abadi, KAGAMA Writing, KAGAMA Runner, KAGAMA Bersepeda, and many more.
After presentation, each of KAGAMA community also provided information in each booth to help those who wants to know deeper about each community’s activity could ask and discuss with the person in charge.
