Yogyakarta – Directorate of Partnerships, Alumni, and Global Initiatives (DKAUI) UGM through Subdirectorate of Alumni Relations held alumni and career service strengthening with PIC of Alumni and Career Service Unit from faculties and schools in UGM on Wednesday (31/7) at Multimedia I Room, 3rd floor, UGM Main Building.
This event opened by Dr. Puji Astuti, S.Si., M.Sc., Apt., as Secretary of DKAUI. During her speech, she conveyed that alumni and career service needs to be improved in faculty and school level, such as response rate of UGM Tracer Study 2019, Graduate Employability Program (GEP), and upcoming internship program with UGM’s company partners.
The next agenda was Subdirectorate of Alumni Relation presentation program presented by Dr. Sulistyowati, S.S., M.Hum., as Head of Subdirectorate of Alumni Relations. She explained all running and upcoming program such as GAMA Co-Brand Card, Online Legalization of Transcript and Diploma, Exit Survey, Certified Student Internship Program (PMMB) – FHCI BUMN, Alumni Data Verification, Graduation Debriefing, Integrated Career Days (ICD), and UGM Tracer Study 2019. There are few program which have already integrated in SIMASTER UGM such as GAMA Co-Brand Card and Exit Survey which are obligatory for graduates during the graduation registration process in SIMASTER UGM.
The event continued with discussion and Q&A session. The questions asked were about Tracer Study, Graduation Employability Program (GEP), internship program, and other objectives that need to be discussed.
It was expected that this program could be able to become socialization platform for stronger alumni program and career development so there will be good understanding and communication between Alumni and Career Service Unit in faculties and schools with Subdirectorate of Alumni Relations and DSSDI to provide better service for UGM students and alumni.
