The Universitas Gadjah Mada Alumni Family (KAGAMA) is an important place for each alumni to connect with each other. Regeneration of the management from time to time continues to be done so that KAGAMA can continue to grow and benefit the surrounding community. This was done by KAGAMA Medical and KAGAMA Forestry Community of Yogyakarta Regional Government who inaugurated the new management on Saturday (10/26).
The event was held at the Joglo Grha FK UGM Alumni and attended by alumni of the Faculty of Medicine and the Forestry Community. The event was attended by Dr. H. Hasto Wardoyo, Sp.OG (K), alumni of the Faculty of Medicine who are currently appointed as the Head of the National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) along with the management of KAGAMA Medical and KAGAMA Forestry Communities. In addition, the Chairman of PP KAGAMA, Ganjar Pranowo, and the Director of Partnerships, Alumni, and International Affairs, Dr. Danang Sri Hadmoko, S.Sc., M.Sc. also attended the inauguration ceremony.
The inauguration of the executive board was resolved bearing domestic problems that could not be solved by the macro. KAGAMA’s contribution to the small pillars is expected to help the surrounding community. One of them is a doctor who has an important role as well as other professions that also contribute to Indonesia. Health is an important aspect of life so that the wheels of the country can move. KAGAMA Medical is expected to take a role in the development of the country. The same thing also became the KAGAMA Forestry Community’s concern in seeing the polemic in the country’s development. KAGAMA Forestry sees the great role that Gadjah Mada alumni can take to develop sectors related to forestry. Both KAGAMA Medical and KAGAMA Forestry are expected to be able to provide ideas or go directly to the field to oversee the course of development.
In this inauguration activity, KAGAMA Medicine inaugurated Dr. H. Hasto Wardoyo, Sp.OG (K) as chairman for the period 2019-2024. KAGAMA The Forestry Community of the Yogyakarta Regional Government appointed Gatot Saptadi as the Trustee and Aji Sukmono Beno Nurjaman as chairman for the 2019-2024 service period. The transfer of position was given directly by the previous management of KAGAMA Medical and KAGAMA Forestry Community. The handover of positions was accompanied directly by Ganjar Pranowo.
The new board is expected to contribute through programs that can help the surrounding community and at the same time encourage national development. UGM expects alumni to continue taking part in advancing the country from all sectors through KAGAMA.
