PT Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park (IMIP) in collaboration with UGM held a socialization and interview activity of PT IMIP on Monday (4/11) in the Vocational School Library Hall.
The event was opened by the Dean of the UGM Vocational School, Dr. Wikan Sakarinto, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D. In his remarks, Dr. Wikan said that this activity was very good for UGM students to get them and alumni closer to the industrial world. The collaboration with PT IMIP is also proof of UGM’s concern on the development of the student’s and alumni talents learning to develop industries that can contribute to the Indonesian economy development.
At the event, more than 100 participants attended the room in the Vocational School Hall. The enthusiasm of the alumni and students was seen since registration was opened. The event began with a presentation by PT IMIP regarding the company and the job desk offered.
After the socialization event, the activity continued with interviews for interested participants. The major fields required are engineering and science. In addition, in the field of socio humanities, vacancies for psychology, accounting, and management are also opened.
The socialization and interview activity is the realization of an agreement signed by UGM and PT IMIP which includes recruitment, internships, research, and similar programs that support the development of quality resources and are expected to jointly contribute to development. Through this cooperation, it is also hoped that students and alumni can take advantage of all available opportunities and take part, especially in the current disruptive era.
