In collaboration with PT Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari (PT APL), Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) through the Directorate of Cooperation, Alumni, and Global Initiatives hosted a webinar info session titled “APL Trainee Program Best Place to Grow” on Friday (24/7) via Cisco Webex Meeting. This activity was attended by more than 120 participants from UGM and other universities.
Moderating the webinar was Marsha Grasiani, Talent Acquisition Spv of PT APL, and the speaker was Evie Revianty, Head of Talent Acquisition and Senior HR Business Partner of PT APL.
The webinar was commenced by a company profile. PT APL is a multi-national company and a joint venture with Zuellig Farma. PT APL was acquired in 2005 by Zuellig Farma, a pharmaceutical company located in thirteen countries and established in 1922. The company’s mission is to “making health care more accessible”. It aims to provide health services to the entire community by delivering products such as vaccines, medicines consumed without a prescription, medical devices to remote areas. Its vision and mission are to strive for the health of the community.
PT APL strives to provide health services to realize and prosper the Indonesian people through trusted health solutions. PT APL was established with five core values: integrity and trust, innovation, collaboration, passion for excellence, and personal growth.
“The core values serve as a compass for our daily attitude and spirit at APL, even in making decisions,” said Evie, who has worked with PT APL for seven years and two months.
Today’s webinar focused on the dissemination of the trainee program opened by PT APL. The two trainee programs offered are the Management Trainee Program (24 months) and the Finance Trainee Program (14 months).
“Management Trainees are more general as you will learn cross-functional. Meanwhile, Finance Trainees will focus on the finance at APL, though you could also learn other divisions,” said Evie.
She continued explaining several advantages gained from the programs. They are able to build networking, the big opportunity to try ruleor other positions, leadership interaction, coaching and mentoring by experts (one trainee, one mentor), and career planning for the trainees.
There are three stages to pass: recruitment, development, and career enhancement.
After joining the trainee program, specifically for Management Trainees, they will be involved in projects every 6 months, and the final results will be presented. The project will also be implemented for company development. It is not just a project to meet graduation requirements. For Finance Trainees, the focus will be on studying business and finance processes from the main to branch companies.
Evie hopes that students and alumni can join this program to train or apply their organizational skills through this webinar.
“You are talents who put forward the importance of company goals, which will determine your reason for work. So, it’s not only about income, but also experiences and contributions which will be useful for you and people,” she concluded.
