One of the key points in the webinar is the common problems found in the industry, such as the difficulty of landing a job, applicants who lack experience, to the high demand in the information and technology sector that is not met with capable human resources in the field. Accordingly, as the largest mobile application and mobile marketing service provider in Indonesia, Jatis Mobile created the technology to connect work with agencies and provide virtual training sessions—considering that Jatis Mobile has a fairly vast network with many industries.
Next, the event continued with a sharing session from PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk., one of the international-scale private banks in Indonesia. The company also develops Covid-19 Project that provides insight into how to manage finances during the pandemic.
The webinar series was wrapped by Kalbe Nutritionals with “Bridging the Generation Gap: Communication and Collaborating in a Multigenerational Workplace”. The webinar discussed generational differences in the workplace—ranging from Boomers, Generation X, Millennial Generation, and Generation 2020. It emphasized the importance for different generations to understand each generation’s work patterns and habits, especially in the current digital era. Communication between different generations, influenced by numerous aspects such as different perceptions and expectations, remains a tough challenge in the workplace. The way to deal with this is by eliminating generational stereotypes, understanding each generation’s experiences and limits, being a good listener, and using different communication methods according to needs.
