UGM was also a populist university because UGM was not an individual, group, or community. UGM ideas should give an advantage to the nation and state which be a plus point for alumni in the working world.
“Not only intellectual capacity is required for work, but also integrity which shows our ethics in teamwork, “he said.

In addition, they were also required to think critically in this changing world to keep innovating and contributing to the nation and state.
He emphasized that UGM alumni must believe that they were the best graduate of a university in Indonesia. As long as they upheld a strong, disciplined, and principled character, also be confident, UGM alumni would always find a place to work.

There were five values that Andin had always maintained in his career. The first was integrity that must be maintained so that from the start, don’t hurt yourself. The second was to have a professional attitude and be able to think critically. Third, alumni must always carry out synergy or cooperation because working in the industrial world would require us to work together to find the best solutions. The fourth was hospitality; we had to be proactive and do not idle and wait for a miracle. The last was to be able to evaluate self to achieve the best results.
It was hoped that the participants could gain much knowledge to prepare and mature themselves before landing a job. In addition, alumni were also expected to continue to uphold the UGM values to advance Indonesia.
