The second day of the UGM Virtual Career Fair (VCF) on Wednesday (22/06) went smoothly. Today’s event featured ten company partners and one from KAGAMA. Approximately 200 participants attended virtually via Zoom Meeting.
Kalbe Nutritional, one of the well-known pharmaceutical companies nationally and internationally, kicked off the event by presenting its company profiles and available vacancies. Next was PT Indomobil Finance, a company engaged in the business of financing vehicle, heavy equipment, property, and micropayments in the form of consumer financing, leasing, and factoring. The speaker also presented any information related to work in finance and offered career opportunities.
Next in line was a career class delivered by PT Jebsen & Jessen Indonesia Group, a manufacturing company that has been around for more than 120 years. Under the title “Effective Presentation in Working Field”, the speaker explained what must be done to be effective in every presentation in the work environment. After that, a company profile presentation was delivered by PT Mitra Pinasthika Mustika Tbk, a automotive company distributor of Honda motorcycles in East Java and NTT. Then there was Skolla, a learning platform that collaborates with professional educators and the highest technology, explaining high technology in the world of education.
Today’s event also featured KAGAMA, who explained “Life Without Risk (is Impossible)” by Indra Priyahutama from PT Pamapersada Nusantara. Indra explained how to manage risk in a career. Indra said that risk should also be seen as a new opportunity for new things. In risk management, several steps should be taken, including building understanding, test finding and design options, executing the plan, and reviewing and managing. Risk management is very much needed in life, career and designing future career goals.
Following that was a company profile by Mandiri Inhealth, a life and health insurance company with commercial health insurance, and PT Malindo Feedmill Tbk, an integrated poultry company and the third largest in Indonesia. Then, a career class from Bukit Vista Hospitality Service discussed steps to continue to innovate and make positive changes in the company.
Then, PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk, one of the major local banks in Indonesia and one of the modern banking models, also had the opportunity to share information on opportunities in the company. Finally, the presentation was closed by PT Mentari Mas Multimedia, a company engaged in domestic and international transportation, especially the transportation of passengers, cargo, and animals via ships, which shared company profile and recruitment information.
UGM VCF activities will still be held until tomorrow, with many opportunities and opportunities that are still open. It is hoped that the participants can get many benefits, especially for future career planning.
