Sony Indonesia held the Fresh Mind Graduate Programme event at the University Club Hotel on Thursday (February 29). The event, attended by over 100 participants from various universities, aimed to open career opportunities for top graduates and help them start their careers at Sony. The Fresh Mind Graduate Programme is one of Sony Indonesia’s efforts to support the development of high-quality human resources in the country. This program provides fresh graduates with the opportunity to expand their knowledge, hone their skills, and develop their careers in the rapidly evolving technology industry.
Yoshiyuki Fujioka, President Director of PT Sony Indonesia, attended the event to deliver a speech and explain the company’s commitment to developing young talent.
The event continued with a presentation by Fransisca Aldo Maharani, Corporate Management Division Head at PT Sony Indonesia, who explained the company and the Fresh Mind Graduate Programme. Participants who meet the criteria will be contacted by the HR team for an interview at Sony’s headquarter in Jakarta.
Additionally, Fae Dea Adelia, Product Marketing for Sony Digital Marketing, shared insights into the scope of work at PT Sony Indonesia. The event also featured Renanda Cakra Bagaskara, a 2015 UGM Chemical Engineering alumnus, who shared his experiences and stories of working at Sony Indonesia. The event concluded with a product workshop led by a Product Specialist from Sony Indonesia. Participants were expected to gain valuable hands-on experience and knowledge about working in the technology industry while interacting with company leaders.
Through this program, Sony Indonesia not only seeks to recruit top graduates but also contributes to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth. By providing practical training, special project participation, and valuable networking opportunities, the Fresh Mind Graduate Programme empowers young talents to excel in the rapidly evolving technology industry. Participants who successfully join Sony are expected to drive innovation in Indonesia, contributing to sustainable economic growth and advancing the country’s technological capabilities in line with global development goals.
