SLB, a multinational company operating in the oil and gas sector, held a campus hiring event at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) on Monday (27/5). The event was attended by Jafar Sodiq and the Human Resources team. This event aimed to recruit and identify the best candidates from various universities in the Yogyakarta region and its surroundings.
SLB, as a service provider for oil fields in more than 120 countries, continues to innovate and develop advanced technologies in the oil and gas industry.
The campus hiring event was held at the Bulaksumur Ballroom of UC Hotel UGM and attended by 200 participants from UGM. The event began with a presentation of the company profile and internship program by Jafar Sodiq, who is a Fracturing and Stimulation Supervisor at Level III. In his presentation, Jafar explained the vision and mission of SLB as well as various opportunities that participants could achieve.
“In this program, we will provide intensive training and mentoring that will help prepare you for a career at SLB. However, self-motivation and high enthusiasm are still required from each individual,” said Jafar.
In addition to the company presentation, participants also had the opportunity to take part in interview sessions with the SLB Human Resources team. These sessions provided opportunities for participants to demonstrate their abilities and interests in this industry.
