Throughout her college years, Dea was an active and accomplished student, participating in and winning numerous competitions during her studies.
Dea began her career in hospitality while still in college. This experience provided her with valuable insights and a strong foundation for her future career.
The year 2023 marked a significant turning point for Dea, as she decided to broaden her career horizons by moving to Australia. Not only did she continue her work in hospitality as a Guest Service Agent at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Perth, Australia, but she also began developing her role as a content creator.
Working in Australia has not diminished Dea’s contributions to Indonesia. As a content creator, she actively produces educational content that provides guidance and tips for those interested in working abroad, particularly in Australia. Dea uses her experiences to help others understand how to start and succeed in a career in a foreign country, offering insights into professional life in Australia. Another notable contribution was her participation as a member of the flag-raising team during the 78th Indonesian Independence Day ceremony in 2023.
Through her work in hospitality and content creation, Dea significantly contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8, which focuses on decent work, youth employment, and economic growth. The content she creates not only provides guidance for fresh graduates seeking job opportunities abroad but also highlights the importance of fair wages, decent working conditions, and equal employment opportunities for young people, thereby supporting inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
