PT Bank QNB Indonesia Tbk, part of the QNB Group, the largest bank in the Middle East and Africa, held a campus hiring program at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). The event was attended by 73 UGM students and alumni participating in the selection for the QNB Bank Management Development Program.
The QNB Bank campus hiring program at UGM was conducted by the company to provide decent job opportunities for young people, especially UGM students and alumni. Through the career acceleration program, QNB Bank is committed to developing young talent to become future leaders in the international banking industry.
The event took place at the UC Hotel Yogyakarta on Tuesday, July 30. QNB Bank has visited several universities in Indonesia, including UGM. Attending the event were Dwi Putro Widodo, HRBP Head of PT Bank QNB Indonesia Tbk, and Anna Susanthi Octora, Learning & Development Manager of PT Bank QNB Indonesia Tbk.
“This program is a career acceleration opportunity for UGM students and alumni. We offer an intensive 2-year program that will prepare participants to become future leaders,” said Dwi Putro.
The event began with a company profile presentation by QNB Bank. Afterward, participants who passed the CV selection underwent interviews with the QNB Bank HR team. The program offers job rotation in various fields, mentoring by C-level executives, and career opportunities within the QNB Group operating in 28 countries.
“We hope this program can be a bridge for UGM students and alumni to accelerate their careers in the international banking industry,” said Anna.
This initiative aligns with the sustainable development goals (SDGs) related to providing decent work and economic growth and supports young people in achieving better careers. Collaborations between companies and universities like this are expected to strengthen a conducive work ecosystem for young people in Indonesia.
