Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), Ir. Basuki Hadimoeljono, M.Sc., Ph.D. motivated the new UGM prospective graduates in the “Debriefing of Graduates of Bachelor and Diploma Programs November 2017 Period” event that was held at Grha Sabha Pramana, Tuesday (21/11).
The presentation of Malay traditional dance and ulos cloth welcomed the arrival of Rector of Universitas Gadjah Mada, Prof. Ir. Panut Mulyono, M.Eng., D.Eng., at the Aryaduta Hotel Ballroom, Medan, Sunday (19/11). His presence is an effort to strengthen the relationship between UGM and its alumni in the Province of North Sumatra (Sumut) through the event titled “UGM Menyapa Alumni” (UGM Greet Alumni). The event that was attended by more than 200 UGM alumni of North Sumatra was held in cooperation between UGM, North Sumatra Gadjah Mada Alumni Family (KAGAMA) Regional Board (Pengda), and PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) I.
Universitas Gadjah Mada never stops making breakthroughs in improving the quality of its graduates. Of the latest steps, one that is currently being prepared is the Graduate Employability Program. Through this program, UGM would like to invite alumni who have entered the career world to participate and provide inputs for the university in optimizing the academic activities required by the career world through online based surveys.
PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) I has just been awarded the ‘Most Improvement in Leadership Transformation of Indonesia: Best Companies in Creating Leaders from Within 2017’ held by Indonesian Leadership and Human Capital Summit (ILHC) 2017, in Jakarta (15/11). The awards are given to companies in Indonesia who are considered successful in organizing Leadership Development program in their internal organization.
Through the National Conference (Munas) that was held on Saturday (11/11), the Alumni Family of Electrical and Information Technology Engineering (KATETI) is now officially becoming an organization that embodies all alumni of Department of Electrical and Information Technology Engineering (DTETI) Universitas Gadjah Mada. The establishment of this organization can’t be separated from the role of cross-generation alumni who are aware of the importance of building a strong bond between fellow DTETI alumni as well as with their alma mater.
“UGM expressed gratitude and highly appreciated the event of Emtek Goes To Campus Yogyakarta 2017 because the media world is very important and in this digital era, it has a great influence on our lives,” said Prof. Ir. Panut Mulyono, M.Eng., D.Eng., in his speech at the Emtek Goes To Campus (EGTC) Yogyakarta 2017.
Alumni community of Universitas Gadjah Mada that is actively networking through social media, Kagama Virtual (KaVir), once again showed its concern for the education world by holding a fundraising for Kagama Virtual Scholarship on Saturday (28/10). The event was packed in a seminar that was attended by more than 40 members of KaVir.
