Within the various facilities offered and career certainty which can increase significantly, no wonder if MT Program is attracted many job seekers, including fresh graduates. PT. Debriefing of UGM Post Graduate Program Graduation Event period October 2018 was festive and full of enthusiasm. The second floor of Grha Sabha Pramana was full of graduates who had finished their post-graduate studies. This debriefing purpose was to prepare alumni on developing their professional career and to push them to create creative ideas to build the nation and the country. Moreover, along with this routine debriefing, this is expected to maintain effective communication between students and alumni who already contribute in various fields in the society.

Yogyakarta – One of the alumni Universitas Gadjah Mada communities, Kagama Virtual (KaVir) held a movie-watching “Sultan Agung” together. This activity was held to commemorate the 73rd Independence Day of Republic of Indonesia and also to share with ones who less fortunate. This movie is directed by Hanung Bramantyo and takes us back to the glorious era of Mataram Kingdom under the reign of Sultan Agung who managed to unite some kingdoms in Java and Madura. The dynamic of Mataram Kingdom among the existence of Nusantara kings and VOC (Vereenigde Oost-indische Compagnie) power is described very well. The strive of Mataram troops who succeed to surround and break into VOC’s fortress in Batavia which ends up to the death of J.P.Coen, VOC General Governor in 1629 was an incredible achievement back then.
