About the 1st UGM International Conference on Tropical Agriculture (ICTA)
The development of tropical agriculture is important to meet the human being needs and generate some sectors, therefore, it affects farmers and people in the world.
The important role of tropical agriculture have attracted many scientists in Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) to arrange an international conference as the 1st International Conference on Tropical Agriculture that will be held on 25 – 26 October 2016. The topic of interest is Integrated and Sustainable Tropical Agriculture that involve many aspects, such as agriculture, animal production, animal health, forestry, fisheries, and agricultural technology
The seminar will be attended by many experts from all over the world and will be directed as well as emphasized on how the resources in the tropical areas can be integrated to produce food in supporting world’s food security.
The aims of the conference are to stay up-to-date on emerging trends and provide a forum for discussion on topics that are related to integrated and sustainable agriculture for continuous food production in tropical countries.
