Other than making activities significantly easier, the rapidly evolving digital age trend is creating very fast and unpredictable changes. It also raises a variety of new challenges and problems that are more complex, no exception in the career world. For that, alumni are required to prepare themselves to be able to adapt to what the era development needs.
“In line with the program of Socio Digi Leader 2017 by Telkom Indonesia, UGM has the same passion with its tagline that is Socioentrepreneurship University,” said Dr. Didi Achjari, S.E., Akt., M.Com., Vice-rector of Planning, Finance, and Information System of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). Through his speech at the opening of an interactive talkshow and launching of Socio Digi Leaders 2017 that was held on Monday (15/05), Didi said that UGM encourages alumni and students to have entrepreneurship spirit and bring it to the community as the social aspect in the development of their business.
“Sweden is opening the opportunity for university graduates around the world to continue their master and doctoral studies there, this is a good opportunity for UGM alumni,” said Titi Holmgren from Nordic Student Service – Sweden in front of UGM students and alumni who attended the Multimedia Room, UGM’s Center Building, Monday (8/5).
Universitas Gadjah Mada Sub-directorate of Alumni Relations cooperates with Faculty’s Alumni and Career Service Units to actively participate in Tracer Study 2017. One of them is by sending faculty representation to join the Enumerator Team of Tracer Study UGM 2017. This step is taken for the success of the program and capture more respondents than the previous year.
