Ritno Kurniawan, the winner of the Alumni Award for Outstanding Young Alumni, was an alumnus of the Faculty of Agriculture in 2007. Ritno also served as chief manager of the Nyarai Tourism Object that he discovered in 2013. By moving the community in Padang Pariaman to open the Nyarai Waterfall tourist destination, Ritno brings many benefits to the surrounding community with the eco-ista he built. Ritno initiated a program where changing the activities of illegal loggers to become tour guides after previously cutting down trees was the livelihood of residents around Lubuk Alung, Padang Pariaman. Ritno then provides training to the surrounding community ranging from teaching the community how to receive guests, teaching people to trade to teaching people to become tour guides at tourist sites which are now increasingly growing.
