The Indonesian Food and Drug Authority (BPOM) held a recruitment event for Civil Servants (CASN) on Thursday, June 6, at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). The event was attended by Arief Setiawan Budi Nugroho, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D., Vice Rector for Planning, Assets, and Information Systems UGM; Prof. Dr. Satibi, M.Si., Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM; Dr. Irwansyah, S.IP, M.Si., Head of the Human Resources Bureau of BPOM; Dr. Ir. Antonius Tarigan, M.Si., Head of the General Affairs Bureau; and Bagus Heri Purnomo S.Si, Apt., Head of the BPOM Regional Office. This event aimed to provide job seekers with opportunities to contribute and build careers at BPOM.
Under the slogan “Where Talent Meets Opportunity,” the event attracted more than 400 participants eager to explore career opportunities at BPOM.
In the opening remarks, Arief Setiawan emphasized that this event was a strong form of collaboration between BPOM and UGM, which will continue to be strengthened in the future.
“This event not only offers participants the chance to learn more about BPOM but also opens up promising career opportunities,” said Arief.
The next session featured a presentation by Irwansyah, Head of the Human Resources Bureau of BPOM. He highlighted that BPOM has 781 civil servant positions available, and this event was an opportunity for participants to showcase their best talents.
“BPOM is committed to fulfilling the nation’s aspirations by developing globally competitive human resources. We seek individuals who are not only competent but also possess strong character values in the workplace and society,” Irwansyah stated.
The presentation provided deep insights into the BPOM recruitment process, the qualifications required, and the expectations BPOM has for prospective applicants. Irwansyah emphasized the importance of embodying the core values of BERAKHLAK (Service-Oriented, Accountable, Competent, Harmonious, Loyal, Adaptive, and Collaborative) as the main foundation for carrying out duties at BPOM.
With this event, BPOM hopes to recruit individuals of strong character who can make a positive contribution to the country. Additionally, this event supports the implementation of SDG Goal 8, which aims to promote productive, inclusive, and decent work opportunities.
